ProctectIQ NETWORK SECURITY
What is ProtectIQ?
A network level security service the protects ALL devices connected to your Wi-Fi. There is no additional cost but you most opt-in to ProtectIQ by accepting the user level agreement when downloading the Silver Star Home Zone App.How does ProtectIQ keep my home network safe?
- Proactively monitors your home’s incoming traffic and automatically blocks anything suspicious.
- Blocks attempted visit to known harmful websites, protecting users with a browser message indicating that the website is not available.
- Provides active security monitoring that uses a large and constantly growing database of threats, which is updated weekly.
- Uses intrusion prevention settings (IPS) to monitor, notify, and prevent activity such as hackers trying to gain access to local video content (such as baby monitor), virtual meetings and other streams.
- Actively terminates data transfers before a malicious payload is delivered to any vulnerable network device.
- Notifies users (via the Home Zone app) whenever a security issue is triggered.
