ACCOUNT ACCESS & SECURITY PROCEDURES
Altitude Fiber follows account information and security regulations set by the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission.
Altitude Fiber takes protecting your privacy very seriously. To ensure your personal information is secure, we require that you create a security password to access your account. If you cannot provide a security password, we have additional measures in place to ensure only authorized persons may access your account.
COLLECTION & USE OF INFORMATION
Altitude Fiber retains and uses your account information only where it will help us provide you with better products and services. We do NOT share, sell or rent any information regarding your account to any other parties that is not already public knowledge. Altitude may contact you regarding our products and services, unless you opt-out (see below). Even if you opt-in, we still pledge that we will not share your nonpublic information with others.
When you use our services, including accessing our website and any mobile applications made available for use with those services (i.e., HomeZone), Altitude Fiber may collect information about you, your mobile device and about your use. Information collected may include your name, email address, telephone number, location, individually identifiable information such as password or your device MAC address or serial number.
Specifically with respect to the HomeZone App, when you install and register an account to use the App, in addition to the information listed above, Altitude Fiber may collect and process information provided directly by you that includes: your phone or contacts data, your inventory of installed apps, a user’s screen recording(s) and users’ image information, browser information and session cookies related to your access and use of the App.
Altitude Fiber may use the information you provide to deliver the services you subscribe to, including any available Apps and their contents, any future releases or upgrades available to you, to carry out our obligations and enforcement rights as described in this Privacy Policy and Altitude Fiber’s Terms of Service, and to fulfill any other purpose authorized by you and reasonably required to make available the services, including any available Apps.
EMPLOYEE TRAINING
Altitude Fiber trains its employees on the importance of securing the information we have on record regarding your account. Employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of customer account information.
PREVENTING IDENTITY THEFT & FRAUD
As an Internet provider, we also provide tools to protect the information you store at home on your computer. In addition, the Federal Trade Commission offers resources on its website with detailed information to help you deter, detect, and defend against identity theft. CUSTOMER Proprietary NETWORK INFORMATION
Altitude Fiber has security measures in place to protect your account information. The below is meant to educate you on our practices and how we use your account information.
WHY?
We are responsible under federal law to protect your account information and the confidentiality of data generated when you use Altitude Fiber’s network. You will be required to provide an account password or answer privacy questions to access your account information.
You have the option to opt-in or out of receiving information about Altitude Fiber’s other services and those of its affiliates. If you choose to opt-in, you are giving us permission to make recommendations for additional services and send you information about our other services. If you opt-out, we will not talk to you about unrelated services without asking permission. We take your privacy seriously and regardless of whether you opt in or out, we do not practice excessive email, mail or telemarketing.
WHAT?
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) is any non-public data we have on record about your use of our network and services, such as the types of subscribed services and how much you use your services. We do not share with, rent or sell to others this information.
HOW?
As an Altitude Fiber customer you always retain right to restrict use of your information. If you opt-in or opt-out, this remains valid until you contact us in writing or for two years, whichever comes first. If you decide to opt-out, this choice will not affect the services to which you currently subscribe. If you have not provided Altitude Fiber with a security password and three privacy questions, you will be asked to do so the next time you contact us to access your account. Contact us to set up your account password or change your opt-in/out status. After 30 days Altitude Fiber will assume customer opt-in.

With the number of Spammers and growing online security threats, we want you to know that we take your privacy very seriously. We do NOT sell or share your email information. We will NOT ask for your personal information or request that you verify account information via email. Your Altitude Fiber online account is enabled with secure access, and you may safely make changes to your account using this method or by contacting an Altitude Fiber representative.
